Questions

What to know about 10x10 pricing.

What is a 10x10 kitchen?
+

A 10x10 kitchen is a 10-foot by 10-foot L-shaped layout used industry-wide to compare cabinet pricing across styles and finishes. It's a standardized benchmark — not a prediction of your final kitchen's size or cost.

What is a galley kitchen?
+

A galley kitchen has two parallel runs of cabinets facing each other across a central walkway, with no corner cabinets. In the Quik Cabinets cost calculator, the galley layout is the smallest standard kitchen we price: about 14 linear feet across 7 cabinets, including a sink base, base cabinets, and wall cabinets. It's the typical layout for narrow kitchens, apartments, and condos. Selecting Galley prices that full 7-cabinet set in any Quik Cabinets finish, RTA or assembled.

What is an L-shaped kitchen?
+

An L-shaped kitchen runs cabinets along two adjacent walls that meet at a single corner, leaving the rest of the room open. In the Quik Cabinets cost calculator, the L-shaped layout is a larger two-wall configuration of about 25 linear feet — more counter space and storage than the standard 10x10. It suits medium to large kitchens and open-plan rooms. Selecting L-shaped prices the full cabinet set for that size in any Quik Cabinets finish, RTA or assembled.

What is a U-shaped kitchen?
+

A U-shaped kitchen wraps cabinets around three walls, forming a U with two corners. In the Quik Cabinets cost calculator, the U-shaped layout is the largest standard kitchen we price: about 33 linear feet across 15 cabinets. It provides the most counter space and storage and works best in larger rooms. Selecting U-shaped prices the full 15-cabinet set in any Quik Cabinets finish, RTA or assembled.

Is this what my kitchen will actually cost?
+

Probably not exactly. Most real kitchens aren't 10x10 — they're larger, smaller, galley, or U-shaped. Use this page to compare finishes against each other, then measure your space and request a free design for a real quote.

What's the difference between RTA and Assembled?
+

RTA (ready-to-assemble) cabinets ship flat-packed and save you 15–20%. Assembled cabinets arrive pre-built and ready to install. Same materials, same hardware, same construction — you're paying for the assembly labor.

Does this include shipping?
+

Flat-pack orders of $2,500 or more ship free across the continental U.S. Smaller orders ship at a flat $199 ($750–$2,499) or $99 (under $750). Pre-assembled cabinets ship a flat $499 for the whole order. Almost every 10x10 kitchen plus modest trim or hardware crosses the free-shipping threshold.

Can I swap cabinets or add more?
+

Yes. The 11-cabinet list is a comparison starting point. You can swap any cabinet for a different size, add an island, tall pantry, glass doors, decorative panels, or moldings. Build the order to fit your real space.

What's not included in the 10x10 price?
+

Crown molding, trim, decorative hardware (knobs and pulls), countertops, sinks, faucets, and appliances. These are priced separately so you control the final look and cost.

How long does delivery take?
+

In-stock orders typically ship within 3–5 business days and arrive via LTL freight within 7–14 business days. You'll receive a tracking number and carrier call-ahead for delivery scheduling.
