Our cabinets feature all-wood construction — no particleboard, no MDF carcasses. Cabinet boxes are built from furniture-grade plywood with solid birch face frames. Doors feature solid birch wood frames with plywood center panels and mortise-and-tenon joinery. Interior shelves are plywood. This construction is significantly more durable than the particleboard cabinets found at most big-box stores.
All of our doors feature a solid birch wood frame with mortise-and-tenon joinery and a plywood center panel — including painted finishes. Many competitors use MDF or HDF for both frames and panels, but ours use real wood throughout. This is a meaningful quality difference you can see and feel.
The cabinet interior features a natural birch veneer finish. It's clean, smooth, and attractive — not raw or unfinished. The birch interior also makes it easy to wipe down and keep clean.
No. Cabinet sides are unfinished by default, which is standard in the
RTA industry. For any exposed cabinet side (such as the end of a run or a
peninsula), you'll need to purchase a matching skin panel or finished
end panel. Our design team will identify which panels you need during
the free 3D design process. Without a skin panel, exposed cabinet sides show the natural plywood exterior with a UV-coated finish — clean and smooth, but not color-matched to your door style.
Toe kicks are sold separately as an accessory. This is industry standard
— it allows you to trim them to the exact length needed during installation. We offer matching toe kick boards in every door color.
Yes. Every cabinet comes standard with soft-close door hinges and soft-close full-extension drawer glides. No upgrade required — it's included in the price.
Absolutely. Our plywood box construction with solid wood face frames is built to handle heavy stone countertops including granite, quartz, and concrete. No additional reinforcement is needed for standard
installations.
Yes. Our glass door wall cabinets come with the glass pre-installed. No need to source or install glass separately.
We currently offer three door series: Ardelle Traditional Shaker (available in 6 colors), Tallis Beveled Shaker (2 colors), and Slim Shaker (2 colors). All feature solid birch wood construction with mortise-and-tenon door joinery. Visit our product pages or order a $25 door sample to see the quality in person.

No. There is no minimum order amount — you can order a single cabinet if that's all you need. The only minimum applies to redeeming your $25 door sample credit, which requires a cabinet order of $500 or more.

Orders process and leave our warehouse within 3–5 business days. LTL freight transit then takes 5–10 business days depending on your location. The carrier contacts you to schedule a delivery appointment. Total time from order to delivery is typically 1–3 weeks. Door samples ship in 1–3 business days via UPS/FedEx Ground.
LTL freight delivers to your driveway, garage, or ground-level accessible area. The driver will not bring boxes inside your home. Cabinets arrive on pallets — individual boxes weigh 50–100 lbs, so we recommend having two adults available. If a semi truck cannot access your street, delivery may be curbside or at a nearby accessible location.
Yes. An adult (18 or older) must be present to sign for the delivery and inspect the shipment. The freight company schedules a delivery window with you in advance. They typically make one delivery attempt — if no one is available, the shipment goes to the local terminal and additional delivery fees may apply.
Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with your tracking number and freight carrier details. Most LTL carriers provide online tracking through their website. For delivery scheduling questions, contact the
carrier directly using the info in your shipping confirmation email.
We currently ship to the contiguous 48 states. If you're in Alaska or Hawaii and interested in our cabinets, please contact us — we may be able to arrange a custom freight quote for your project. We do not ship internationally or to Canada at this time.
We do not offer local pickup at this time. All orders ship via LTL freight or UPS/FedEx (for samples).
This is critical: Before signing the delivery receipt, inspect all boxes for visible damage — crushed corners, wet spots,
punctures, or torn packaging. If you see any damage, note it on the delivery receipt and take photos immediately. Then email us at support@quikcabinets.com. Signing a clean receipt without noting damage
makes it much harder to file a freight claim later.
Yes! We offer professional assembly service as an add-on. Your cabinets are assembled by our team before shipping, so they arrive ready to install — no tools required. Assembly service rates vary by cabinet. Assembled cabinet shipping rates start at $399 depending on your delivery zone and order size. Contact us for a quote.
Our cabinets use an L-bracket assembly system that's straightforward for most DIYers. Wall cabinets typically take 10–15 minutes each, and base cabinets take 15–25 minutes. Drawer base cabinets take longer since the dovetail drawer boxes also need assembly. If you've assembled flat-pack furniture before, you can handle these. You'll need: a cordless drill/driver with multiple bit sizes, a Phillips head screwdriver, a rubber mallet (for tapping dovetail drawer joints together), a level, and measuring tape. A square and clamps are helpful but not required. Wood glue is optional for extra joint strength.
Cabinet boxes use an L-bracket system — metal brackets and screws hold the panels together. Drawer boxes use dovetail joinery — interlocking wood joints that you tap together with a rubber mallet.
Both methods create strong, durable joints for residential use.
No. Drawer boxes arrive flat-packed and use dovetail joinery — the joints interlock and are tapped together with a rubber mallet. It's straightforward but takes a few extra minutes per drawer. Wood glue is
optional for extra strength.
Wood glue is optional but not required. The L-bracket and dovetail systems are strong enough on their own. If you want extra rigidity — especially for drawer boxes — apply wood glue to the dovetail joints before tapping them together. Any standard wood glue like Titebond II works well.
Yes.We provide assembly guide videos on our website. For installation, industry
standard is to hang upper (wall) cabinets first, then install base cabinets. A ledger board screwed into wall studs makes hanging uppers much easier. If you get stuck at any point, our support team is available by phone, email, or live chat.
We offer a professional assembly service — your cabinets can ship fully assembled and ready to install. On-site installation is handled by your local contractor or installer. Our cabinets install the same way as any standard face-frame cabinet.
Our cabinets follow industry-standard dimensions:
- Base cabinets: 34.5" high (allows for 1.5" countertop = 36" total height), 24" deep
- Wall cabinets: 12" deep, available in various heights (30", 36", 42")
- Vanity base cabinets: 34.5" high, 21" deep
- Blind corner cabinets: Require an additional 3" pull dimension for clearance during installation
Industry standard minimum clearance between countertop and wall cabinets is 18 inches.
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unassembled, in original condition, and in original packaging. A 15% restocking fee applies, and you are responsible for return shipping
costs. Do not ship anything back until you've contacted us and received a return authorization and return address. Refunds are processed after inspection — allow 5–15 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
You have 12 hours from purchase to cancel with no penalties — contact us immediately. After 12 hours, items may already be packed or in transit, and cancellation fees apply. Order changes
(swapping sizes, adding items) can be made within 24 hours with no penalties. After 24 hours, a 10% restocking fee applies to swapped items.
Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Take photos and email support@quikcabinets.com with your order number, photos, and which parts are affected. We replace damaged components at no cost — you do not
need to return damaged items. Replacements ship in 5–7 business days.
You have 14 days for missing item claims and 30 days for damage claims.
We offer a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. This includes cabinet structure, door and drawer construction, hinges, and drawer
glides. The warranty does not cover normal wear, improper installation, misuse, water damage from plumbing leaks, or color changes due to light exposure. Proof of purchase is required.
No. We follow an industry-standard photo-based claims process. Send us clear photos of the damaged parts with your order details. Once approved, we ship replacements directly — no need to box up and return damaged pieces.
Count all items at delivery and compare against your order confirmation. If anything is missing, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us within 14 days. We'll verify and send any missing items at no additional
cost.
If cabinets are still unassembled and in original packaging, you can return them under our 30-day return policy (15% restocking fee applies). This is why we strongly recommend our free 3D design service — our designers verify every cabinet size before you order.
No. Once cabinets have been assembled or installed, they cannot be returned. We recommend inspecting all parts and dry-fitting before full assembly. If you discover a defect during assembly, stop and contact us — we'll replace the defective component under warranty.
Send us your room measurements (we provide a measuring guide), and our
professional designer creates a full 3D layout within 48 hours. You'll receive photorealistic renders showing your space with our cabinets, a detailed itemized list of every cabinet and accessory needed, and
complete pricing. It's completely free with no obligation. Request yours at our 3D Design page.
Any room that uses cabinetry — kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, home offices, butler's pantries, wet bars, and more. If it has cabinets, we can design it.
Yes. You can request revisions to change cabinet configurations, try different door colors, adjust layouts, and more. Our designers work with you until the plan is exactly right — no charge for revisions.
For $25, we ship you an actual cabinet door sample in the color you're considering — free shipping, delivered in 2–3 business days. Feel the wood quality, see the exact finish in your lighting, and share with
family or your contractor. The $25 is credited toward any cabinet order of $500+ (credit only, not refundable). We strongly recommend ordering a sample before committing to a full order.
Two great starting points:
- Order a door sample ($25): Feel the quality and see the color in your home
- Request a free 3D design: Get a professional layout with full pricing
Most customers do both — order a sample while the design is being created.
From there, our team helps you finalize and place your order.
Yes. Our Trade Account program offers volume pricing, priority support, and dedicated project coordination for licensed contractors, kitchen designers, and builders. Contact us to apply.
Clean with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and mild dish soap. Wipe dry immediately — don't let water sit on wood surfaces. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, bleach, ammonia-based products, and steel wool. We sell touch-up kits for minor scratches and scuffs.
Yes. We offer a full line of bathroom vanities. However, wood cabinets in bathrooms need proper ventilation — always use an exhaust fan during and after showers. The finish is water-resistant but not waterproof — standing water or persistent moisture will cause damage.
Skin panels are thin, color-matched decorative panels that cover exposed cabinet sides. You need them wherever a cabinet end is visible — at the end of a cabinet run, on a kitchen island, next to a refrigerator, or flanking a dishwasher. Without a skin panel, the exposed side shows the natural plywood exterior with a UV-coated finish — smooth and clean, but not color-matched to your door style. Our free 3D design service identifies exactly which skin panels your layout needs, so you never have to guess.
